Russian drone strike hits gas station near Poltava, injures worker and 5 drivers

Due to a Russian drone strike on a gas station in the Poltava district in the evening of September 17, six people were injured. Among them is a gas station employee who is in serious condition, the Poltava Regional Prosecutor’s Office reports.
“In the evening of September 17, the armed forces of the Russian Federation attacked the Poltava district with strike drones. A gas station was damaged as a result of the UAV hit,” the statement says.
According to the Prosecutor’s Office, six civilians were injured during the attack: the gas station's female employee and five drivers. All of them were hospitalized, with the woman in serious condition.
Law enforcement has launched a pre-trial investigation under the article on committing a war crime (Part 1, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Prosecutors and investigators are currently documenting the consequences of the attack.
Attacks on Poltava region
On the night of September 17, the Poltava region was attacked by enemy drones, causing a fire on the open territory of an enterprise.
Later in the evening, a Russian UAV struck a gas station in the Poltava district, which also caused a fire.
Tonight, September 18, Russian forces attacked the railway infrastructure of the Poltava region. The Myrhorod district was hit, resulting in fires.
