In Ukraine's Kharkiv region, a Russian drone attacked emergency workers during mine clearance operations on farmland in the recently liberated areas of the Izium district. One deminer was killed, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

"During mine clearance operations on farmland in the recently liberated areas of the Izium district, Russian forces cynically attacked emergency workers," the statement said.

The enemy directed a combat drone straight at the working mechanism of a MINEWOLF MV-370 demining vehicle while the sappers were servicing and inspecting the equipment. Unfortunately, one explosives technician was killed. Two of his colleagues were injured and are currently in the hospital, where doctors are fighting to save their lives.

"The price of safety is extremely high. Every day, our heroes go out to perform dangerous work to clear Ukrainian land of the deadly legacy of war. Each loss in the State Emergency Service family is deeply felt," the rescuers noted.
