Russian drone hits apartment block in Kremenchuk, injuring 11, including three children

A Russian drone struck a multi-story residential building in Kremenchuk on October 29, killing at least two people and injuring 11 others, including three children, according to Vitalii Diakivnych, head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration reports.
The first reports of the Russian attack on the city emerged at around 12:10 p.m.
“All emergency services have been dispatched to the scene. Preliminary reports indicate there are injured people. The information is being clarified,” Diakivnych wrote.
A few minutes later, reports emerged that at least two people had been killed in the Russian strike.
“According to preliminary information, two people were killed in the attack and one person was injured,” the regional administration chief confirmed.
He also said that parked cars nearby had caught fire. Diakivnych stressed that all emergency services had arrived at the scene of the Russian strike.
“The number of injured has risen to two. One of them is a six-year-old child. They have been hospitalized,” the regional administration chief later уточнив.
Kremenchuk Mayor Vitalii Maletskyi also issued a statement. According to him, the latest Russian attack caused significant damage to multi-story residential buildings.

Vehicles parked nearby were also damaged or destroyed by fire.

“Unfortunately, reports of fatalities are coming in. The number of people killed is still being established. The Poltava Regional Military Administration will provide verified details and official information later,” Maletskyi stressed.

The number of injured has now risen to 11, including three children.
Earlier on October 29, Russian forces attacked central Chernihiv, killing two people.
Russia also launched an aerial attack on a civilian electric train in Dnipro on the same day. According to the latest reports, 13 people were killed.
