Russian drone debris falls near road in Kyiv, setting trees ablaze

On Wednesday, September 30, debris from a Russian drone fell near a road in Kyiv, setting trees on fire, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
"In the Holosiivskyi district, debris fell in an open area near a road. Trees caught fire," he said.
Klitschko added that the capital’s emergency services were heading to the scene.
Earlier today, scheduled power outages were introduced in the Kyiv region due to the aftermath of Russian attacks. Emergency power cuts were also imposed in three regions of Ukraine and Kyiv following the attacks.
In addition, Russian forces began using new weapons. In particular, they tested jet-powered drones with special warheads designed to destroy high-voltage power lines and bridges for the first time.
On September 30, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 285 attack drones. Of these, 174 were jet-powered. Ukrainian air defenses shot down or suppressed 254 drones, including 146 jet-powered ones.
In addition, Russian forces launched a ballistic missile and several Banderol/Dan-T drones in the eastern direction.
