Russian drone attacks evacuation bus in Dnipropetrovsk region

Russian forces attacked an evacuation bus of the Proliska humanitarian mission in the Dnipropetrovsk region on June 28, according to the mission's statement on Facebook.
Russia used a bomber drone for the attack. At the time, the vehicle was on its way to pick up families with children from settlements in the Synelnykove district, where mandatory evacuation had been announced.
"A fragmentation-explosive munition was dropped just half a meter from the vehicle. As a result, the minibus sustained damage to its rear wheels, fuel tank and windows were shattered," the humanitarian mission reported.
At the moment of the attack, no civilians had yet boarded the vehicle. The crew driver miraculously remained unharmed.
Strikes of evacuation convoys
Russian forces frequently target humanitarian and evacuation missions. On April 20, 2025, Russia attacked a vehicle of the Proliska Humanitarian Mission with FPV drones. The vehicle was carrying evacuees from a village near Kostyantynivka.
A car from the same humanitarian organization was attacked in January 2024 in Chasiv Yar during the door-to-door delivery of aid provided by UNHCR Ukraine.
In September 2023, Russian troops bombed a vehicle with foreign volunteers on board, resulting in the death of one of them.
