Russian drone attacked police officers in Beryslav on August 11: two wounded
Russian occupants attacked a police car with a drone in Beryslav, the Kherson region. Two law enforcement officers were injured, stated the head of Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
"In Beryslav, the Russians attacked the police with a drone," he said.
According to Prokudin, one of the projectiles hit the roof of the police vehicle.
"As a result, two law enforcement officers were injured. They were hospitalized," added the head of the regional administration.
According to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, in the Beryslav district, an enemy drone dropped explosive charges on a humanitarian aid distribution point and a police car in the morning.
"As a result, a resident and two police officers were injured," the statement reads.
Russian Federation's attacks on police in the Kherson region
Attacks involving drone-delivered grenades on police vehicles in the Kherson region have become an almost regular practice for the Russians. For example, in March, a police investigative team in the village of Antonivka in the Kherson region was targeted. The occupants attacked the police car by dropping a grenade from a drone. Four police officers were injured.
Additionally, in April in Kherson, in the Korabel district, a police vehicle came under drone attack. As a result of the incident, two police officers were injured, and the car sustained mechanical damage.
