Russian drone attack targets Ukraine's Kharkiv furniture store: Aftermath revealed

A Russian terror drone struck the Meblevyi (Furniture) Labyrinth store in Kharkiv on August 9, damaging its roof and interior, reports the National Police of Kharkiv region.
"At about 4:20 PM Kyiv time on August 9, police received a report that a Russian drone targeted a furniture store. The roof and the store premises were damaged. Police officers, rescuers, and medical personnel arrived at the scene promptly. An inspection of the impact site is underway, and assistance is being provided to the injured," the statement said.
According to the police, three women aged 38, 45, and 43, along with a 17-year-old girl, suffered shrapnel wounds from the drone strike on the store. All victims were hospitalized.
The police also released photos from the site of the Russian forces' attack.

According to Kharkiv media and channels, the Meblevyi (Furniture) Labyrinth store in the Saltivskyi district came under attack.
The State Emergency Service of Kharkiv region also released photos of the damage. Rescuers reported five casualties, including one child.
"There was no fire. Rescuers cut through the damaged metal roofing structures. Psychologists from the State Emergency Service assisted the affected people," the statement said.
Russian strikes on Ukraine, August 9
Russian forces carried out war crimes against the Ukrainian people from early morning on August 9. In the morning, Russian drones struck a passenger minibus in a suburb of Kherson. The attack killed two men. Sixteen others were injured.
Russians also attacked Dnipro with missiles in the morning. For the first time, Iskander-K cruise missiles were launched from temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories. A woman born in 1984 and two men born in 1995 and 2004 were wounded in the latest Russian terror attack.
