Russian drone attack overnight: Ukrainian Navy reveals number of downed Shaheds

On the night of July 7, Russian forces launched Shahed strike drones at Ukrainian cities. The Naval Forces of Ukraine intercepted and destroyed 15 UAVs, the press service of the Ukrainian Navy reports.
"Tonight, during the air attack by the Russian occupiers, forces and means of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down 15 enemy kamikaze drones 'SHAHED-136'," the Ukrainian military reported.
The Naval Forces noted that, together with units of other components of Ukraine's Defense Forces, they continue to destroy the enemy on land, at sea, and in the air.
Ukrainian Navy also reported that as of the morning of July 7, no enemy ships were present in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.
Shahed attack on July 7
Russia attacked several cities with Shahed UAVs. At night, the Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, warned that Odesa was under drone attack. Explosions thundered in the city.
In Kyiv, fragments of Shahed drones fell in two districts. There were no fires. No casualties were reported either.
In Kharkiv, Russian drones hit residential multi-story buildings in the Slobidskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts. As a result, fires broke out there. According to preliminary estimates, at least 13 people were injured.
