Russian ballistic missile kills family in strike near Ukraine's Kryvyi Rih

A ballistic missile struck a private home on the outskirts of Kryvyi Rih, where a large family was living. Six people were killed, and eight others were injured, according to Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council.
An Iskander-M ballistic missile launched from Voronezh struck a private home in a village on the outskirts of Kryvyi Rih, where a large family was living.
Six people were killed in the strike, including two girls aged 5 and 12.
Another eight people were injured, including two boys aged 6 and 15.
Search and rescue operations are ongoing, and emergency crews have not yet finished clearing the rubble. All those injured are receiving the necessary assistance. According to Vilkul, the death toll may rise.
Earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha spoke by phone with Iran's foreign minister immediately after Tehran threatened to strike Ukraine. He stressed that Kyiv's actions are aimed solely at defending against Russian aggression and called on Iran to stop supporting Russia's war.
Afterward, Tehran confirmed that it does not seek escalation with Ukraine, while emphasizing that the damage caused to its vessel must be compensated.
