Russian attacks hit emergency crews in Kharkiv and Kherson

Russian forces attacked rescue workers while they were responding to emergencies in Kharkiv and Kherson during the night of July 6. Fortunately, no firefighters were injured, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES).
According to the report, in Kharkiv, the enemy struck the city with drones overnight. After rescuers arrived at the scene of a fire, the occupiers launched a second strike.
A fire truck was damaged in the attack.
"The personnel were not injured — the firefighters managed to take cover in time," the statement said.
In Kherson, a fire broke out at a gas station in the morning following shelling of the city.
"During firefighting efforts, the enemy deliberately launched a second attack on the rescuers. A fire truck was damaged as a result," the State Emergency Service reported.

Attack on Ukraine
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia launched 157 drones and four S-300 surface-to-air guided missiles at Ukraine. Air defense forces shot down 117 drones.
The enemy targeted Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia during the night. Russian forces also attacked Kyiv region. Three people were injured in the attacks. High-rise buildings and private homes were damaged.
