“As a result of the attack, a residential multi-story building in the Sviatoshynskyi district was damaged. There is a fire on the roof of the building,” the message said.

Tkachenko added that information about casualties is still being clarified.

Update as of 07:38 a.m.

The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration appears to have retracted his information about the consequences of the Russian attack on Kyiv.

“The information was not confirmed,” he wrote in response to a post about the consequences.

Meanwhile, Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko reported that a woman and a child were hospitalized in Kyiv hospitals from the capital’s suburbs after being injured. Preliminary reports suggest debris fell in a private residential area.

Attack on Kyiv and Ukraine

On the night of February 22, the enemy once again carried out a combined strike on Ukraine. Russians launched drones, ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles at Ukrainian cities.

At least Kyiv, Kropyvnytskyi, Poltava, and Mykolaiv came under attack. Judging by the number of explosions and the direction of the missiles, the first two cities suffered the most.

In particular, Kyiv was attacked with ballistic missiles three times, and toward morning, cruise missiles were flying toward the capital simultaneously with drones. The city was extremely loud.
