Russian attack on Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia: Kindergarten hit

Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia today, February 10, during the day. As a result of the strike, a kindergarten building was damaged, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, on Telegram.

He noted that the kindergarten building was damaged by the blast wave — windows were blown out, and some nearby rooms on the premises were also affected.
"Fortunately, no one was injured — children and staff were in the shelter,” Fedorov said.
He also added that nearby apartment buildings were damaged.
Earlier, the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration had warned that Russian strike drones had been detected over Zaporizhzhia. They were flying toward local areas.
He also mentioned a ballistic missile threat to the Zaporizhzhia region.
Strike on Kharkiv
In October last year, the Russian army carried out a massive attack on Kharkiv using strike drones. One of the drones hit a private kindergarten in the Kholodnogirskyi district of the city.
The strike caused a fire at the site, and all children were evacuated from the building. According to local authorities, at least four people were injured in the attack, including a man and a woman in serious condition with burns.
