Russian attack on Ukraine's Sumy: Rescuers reveal footage of consequences

Russia launched a massive attack on Sumy on June 2. Rescuers shared photos and videos of the aftermath.
This morning, on June 2, Russian forces attacked a residential area in the city of Sumy.
After the strikes, State Emergency Service personnel promptly inspected the area and assisted the victims. No people were found under the rubble.

According to the State Emergency Service, the attack damaged six private houses, three summer cottages, and one industrial infrastructure facility.
Rescuers continue to work at the scene.

This morning, Russian forces attacked the city of Sumy, targeting residential areas and industrial facilities. Explosions were heard around 10:15 a.m. Kyiv time, damaging at least two locations.
According to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, two women sustained shrapnel wounds as a result of the attack. The injured were hospitalized and are currently receiving necessary medical care.
Rescuers and emergency services are working at the scene, inspecting the area and assessing the damage. Details regarding the type of weapons used and the scale of destruction are being clarified.
