Russian attack on Ukraine's Kherson kills one civilian, injures another

This afternoon, on June 29, Russian forces attacked Kherson. One man was killed as a result of the enemy fire, and another was wounded, informs Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
He stated that the enemy attacked the central district of the city at approximately 2:30 PM Kyiv time.
"Unfortunately, a man received fatal wounds during the attack. His identity is currently being established. My condolences go to the family of the deceased," Prokudin wrote.
He also added that a 61-year-old resident of Kherson was injured in the Russian attack. The man was taken to the hospital with explosive trauma and shrapnel wounds. Doctors are currently conducting further examinations.
Russian attacks on Kherson and the region
Notably, Russian forces regularly attack Kherson and the Kherson region. They use various types of drones, artillery, and other weapons.
For example, on the morning of June 24, Russia opened fire on the Korabelnyi District of the city. Residential neighborhoods were hit, resulting in injuries to four civilians.
Additionally, on June 28, Russia attacked the Kherson region and the city throughout the day. Seven civilians were injured as a result of these attacks.
