Two people were killed in a strike in Poltava on July 3. More than 10 other people were injured, according to the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Kohut.

"According to preliminary information, unfortunately, two people were killed and 11 were injured. An emergency response headquarters has been deployed at the scene. All the necessary services are working," the message says.

The enemy struck at the Poltava community, which resulted in a fire. Civilian infrastructure was damaged.

The SES notes that 10 people were wounded in the Russian attack. The SES rescued 10 people.

Strike on Poltava

On the morning of July 3, explosions were heard in Poltava amid the threat of drone strikes. Later, it became known that the Russians attacked the city with Shahed drones.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that one of the hits caused a fire in the building of the Poltava Territorial Center of Recruitment and Social Support (TCR).

Another hit near the Poltava TCR caused a fire on the territory of a private house.
