On the night of September 11-12, Russia attacked the city of Konotop in the Sumy region. The strikes resulted in damage and casualties, according to the city's mayor, Artem Semenikhin.

Following the explosions, the mayor of Konotop reported that the enemy targeted infrastructure, leading to power and water outages, as well as damage to residential buildings in the city center.

There are casualties resulting from the attack. As of approximately 2:40 AM, two people have been hospitalized, one of whom is in critical condition and a coma. The exact number of injured is not yet known.

In his updates, Semenikhin mentioned that the water supply in the city has been temporarily restored. He urged residents to stock up on water as the supply will be interrupted again in the morning.

Additionally, arrangements have been made to evacuate residents whose homes have been damaged to temporary shelters.

Later, at 3:07 AM, the mayor announced that tram services in the city would be restricted today, September 12, due to the enemy destroying the tram tracks.
