Russian attack leaves Kyiv high-rise in ruins, with balconies charred and apartments wrecked

In the Dniprovskyi district of Kyiv, cleanup efforts are underway on the morning of September 11 following a nighttime attack. As a result of the strike on a nine-story building, its facade has been blackened, and some of the apartments have been reduced to ashes.
RBC-Ukraine shows what the building looks like after the Russian attack.
The photos show that the facade on one side has been almost completely burned. The building's wall in the areas where the fire started is covered in a thick layer of black soot—traces of smoke rise from the burned-out windows up through several floors.

The balconies at the epicenter of the fire were completely burned out—only their blackened metal frames remain. On other floors, charred window frames and shattered glass are visible.

Some of the windows have been completely shattered. Inside the apartments, judging by the footage, the fire destroyed the residents' furniture and personal belongings.

At least 8 people were injured as a result of the fire:
- A 64-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman suffered burns and were hospitalized
- A 23-year-old woman sustained a shrapnel wound
- Medical personnel treated five other people on the scene without hospitalization.
On the evening of September 10, the Russians also attacked the Kyiv region with strike drones.
A large-scale fire broke out at a civilian warehouse near Hostomel after a drone strike, and a total of 17 facilities were damaged across three districts of the region.
Meanwhile, that same evening, the Russians struck the warehouses of a volunteer organization in Odesa, where essential supplies were stored.
The warehouse building was damaged, and two people were injured.
