Russian attack damages boarding school in Kyiv, sparks fires

Fires broke out in Kyiv's Holosiivskyi and Darnytskyi districts following an overnight attack on the city. A boarding school building was also damaged, Ukraine's State Emergency Service reported.
Where the fires broke out
In the Holosiivskyi district, a warehouse caught fire after being hit. The fire has already been extinguished.
In the Darnytskyi district, cars caught fire in an open area. The fire was also extinguished.
Other affected locations
At one location, a crater from the strike was found. Windows in the main building and an auxiliary building of a boarding school were damaged.

At two other addresses, debris fell into the yard of a residential building and onto a private house. No fires were reported there.
There were no casualties or injuries.
This was not the first ballistic attack on Kyiv over the past week. During the night of July 14, the city was attacked with missiles.
Earlier, on July 11, Russian forces also launched a ballistic attack on the capital before an air raid alert was issued. The first such incident occurred on the night of July 8.
