Russian assaults destroy Ukrainian military positions in three front-line areas

Russian occupiers destroyed some of the Ukrainian Defense Forces' positions during assaults. The destruction of positions has been recorded in three directions along the front, according to Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Group of Troops.
It is reported that on the Kupiansk direction, the enemy carried out offensive operations towards Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Zahryzove, and Zelenyi Hay, while on the Lyman direction, they stormed positions in the areas of Pershotravneve, Hrekivka, Terny, and Makiivka.
"As a result of the assault operations and fire impact, some of our positions were destroyed. Measures are being taken to prevent the worsening of the tactical situation," stated Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Group of Troops.
Also, on the Kramatorsk and Toretsk directions, clashes occurred in Chasiv Yar, near Stupochky, Bila Hora, Predtechyne, and Toretsk. Some Ukrainian positions were destroyed due to the enemy's assault operations and fire.
"Efforts continue to identify, localize, and destroy enemy assault groups that have infiltrated our combat positions," the statement reads.
Frontline situation
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 213 combat engagements were recorded over the past 24 hours. The most intense clashes took place near Pokrovsk, Kurakhove, and in the Kursk region.
Urban battles are ongoing in Chasiv Yar and Toretsk. The Defense Forces reported the destruction of some positions.
It is also known that the enemy is avoiding urban battles in Pokrovsk. Despite heavy fighting, more than 7,000 residents remain in the city.
