Russian army strikes checkpoint in Ukraine's Kherson region: Three police officers injured

The Russian forces attacked a checkpoint in the Kherson region on Friday, September 5. Police officers were injured as a result of the strike, according to the Kherson region police.
The Russian army struck a checkpoint in the Bilozerka community with an attack drone. According to law enforcement, three police officers aged 21, 26, and 28 were injured in the attack, all suffering concussions.
According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Russian troops attacked Bilozerka again in the morning of September 6. As a result of the strike, a 41-year-old local woman sustained a blast injury.
Another 51-year-old woman suffered a blast injury, a concussion, and an acute stress reaction.
In August, two police officers were killed while performing their duties in Sviatohirsk, the Donetsk region.
Additionally, in the Donetsk region, three special-purpose police battalion fighters were killed as a result of an enemy airstrike.
Police officers were also hit near Kherson on August 9. They had arrived at the site of a bus attack and, during a second strike, were trying to remove the bodies of the deceased from the bus. Three officers were injured in the incident, all suffering concussions.
