Russian army shells Ukraine's Kostiantynivka: One fatality and one injured reported

A Russian Smerch multiple launch rocket system struck Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region, resulting in one fatality, according to Serhii Horbunov, head of the Kostiantynivka City Military Administration.
"Earlier today, the enemy launched a missile strike on the city of Kostiantynivka using a Smerch multiple launch rocket system equipped with a 9M542 high-explosive fragmentation warhead (which hits targets through blast and shrapnel effects - ed.)," wrote Horbunov.
He specified that one civilian was killed in the attack, and another was injured. The strike also damaged three private residential houses.
According to the head of the city military administration, due to the threat of a repeated attack, it is currently impossible to inspect the scene or begin recovery efforts.
"Each such strike on the civilian population is further evidence of the aggressor's barbaric tactics," he added.
Horbunov also urged local residents to evacuate if possible.
