Russian army hit Sloviansk in Donetsk region with Iskander
On the early morning of January 27, the Russian army attacked the city of Sloviansk in the Donetsk region. The occupiers launched a missile strike on civilian infrastructure, according to Vadym Lyakh, the Head of Sloviansk City Administration and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
An enemy missile hit the ceramic workshop. According to Lyakh, it is almost completely destroyed.
As a result of the attack, adjacent residential buildings on Darwin Street, a kindergarten housing a social cafeteria, were also affected, with windows shattered.
Fortunately, no one was harmed due to the shelling by the occupiers.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine specified that the Russians struck Sloviansk with the operational-tactical missile system Iskander.
"In the morning, Russian occupiers launched a ballistic missile Iskander targeting the civilian infrastructure of Sloviansk in the Donetsk region," as stated in the morning briefing from the General Staff.
Strike on Myrnohrad
Recalling, on the night of January 26, Russian invaders launched two missiles at the city of Myrnohrad in the Donetsk region. The residential sector was at the epicenter of the explosions. Private and multi-story residential buildings, as well as outbuildings, were damaged.
As a result of the enemy attack, six local residents were injured – three men aged 25, 40, and 49, a 37-year-old woman, and her 16-year-old daughter. An 8-year-old girl was also affected.
