Head of the Kostiantynivka City Military Administration Serhii Horbunov reported that Russian forces launched 10 airstrikes on the city, damaging key infrastructure, including DTEK’s power grid. One person was injured in the attack.

This morning, Russian troops carried out another strike on the Kostiantynivka community in the Donetsk region. The city of Kostiantynivka and its surrounding areas came under enemy fire.

Preliminary data shows that three airstrikes hit outside the city, while seven landed directly on the territory of Kostiantynivka.

The attacks damaged warehouse and administrative buildings belonging to local businesses, a gas station, utility structures, and a DTEK power line (DTEK is a Ukrainian operating holding company responsible for electricity distribution -ed.)

One civilian was injured during the shelling. Police paramedics provided emergency aid at the scene.

In addition, Russian forces fired artillery at the private residential sector.

According to initial reports, no civilian deaths were recorded.

Russia's shelling of Kostiantynivka

Russian forces continue to shell populated areas across the Donetsk region. They use various types of weapons, destroying homes and taking lives.

On March 13, Russian troops attacked Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk. Eight people were injured, including a teenager. In Kostiantynivka, Russian forces used a Smerch multiple rocket launcher system. Two people were wounded as a result.

A day earlier, Russian troops dropped 11 aerial bombs on Kostiantynivka. Two people were killed and eight were wounded. Many apartment buildings and private homes were damaged.

At the end of January, Russian forces dropped seven FAB-250 bombs on Kostiantynivka. At least two people were killed and three others injured. Among the dead were two men, aged 62 and 72. The wounded included three women, aged 56, 61, and 71. The oldest victim was evacuated to a hospital in serious condition.
