Russian air strike on Kramatorsk: Rescuers resume debris removal

The rescue operation in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, has been going on for 2 days after a Russian air strike on a residential building. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, one more person may be trapped under the rubble.
On June 21, a Russian airstrike hit a 4-story residential building. As a result of the Russian strike, part of the building collapsed.
According to updated reports, 4 people were killed - their bodies were unblocked by rescuers. 4 more were injured, 3 of whom were rescued from the rubble.
One person may still be trapped under the rubble. Emergency services are working at the site, dismantling the structures - more than 230 tons of destroyed building fragments have already been removed.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine notes that the operation is complicated by the scale of the destruction and the threat of repeated collapses.
Russian strike on Kramatorsk
In the evening of June 21, after 10 p.m. Kyiv time, Russian troops launched a series of air strikes on Kramatorsk.
According to the head of the city's military administration, Oleksandr Honcharenko, 7 Russian strikes were recorded on industrial facilities and residential areas of the city. One of the shells hit a multi-storey residential building. As of midnight on June 22, one wounded person was reported.
According to the prosecutor's office, the city was attacked with air bombs. One of the shells partially destroyed a four-story residential building.
According to updated data, 4 people were killed and 4 others were injured.
At the same time, Sloviansk came under Russian attack. A child was killed and 3 other people were injured in the Russian attack. Russian troops damaged 32 private houses, 2 administrative buildings, 4 high-rise buildings, a production facility, and 3 cars.
