In the past 24 hours, the heaviest fighting has occurred in the Kupiansk and Pokrovsk directions. Russian Federation is attempting to leverage its advantage in manpower and equipment, with air support, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Despite the enemy's actions, Ukrainian forces are putting up a fight, and in certain areas, they are conducting successful assault operations to strengthen their defenses and reclaim positions.

Over the past day, the Russian army has launched four missile strikes using 14 missiles and 46 airstrikes with 69 guided bombs and deployed 311 kamikaze drones. They have carried out more than 2,600 shellings against our troops and populated areas using various types of weaponry.

Specifically, in the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces continue attempts to breach Ukrainian defenses near the settlement of Ocheretyne. As of 11:00 PM, four attacks are ongoing there.

Fighting is also taking place near Sokol and Umanske. Overall, there have been 31 clashes in this direction. The enemy has achieved partial success in some areas. Our defenders are taking active measures to stabilize the situation.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv direction, there have been 12 clashes. Ten attacks were repelled in the areas of the villages of Lyptsi and Ternova, and fighting continues near Vovchansk and Starytsia. The situation is under control, and no positions have been lost. Over the current day, the enemy suffered 118 casualties, both killed and wounded. Ukrainian forces destroyed two tanks, seven UAVs, eight vehicles, and four pieces of special equipment. Four artillery systems and three vehicles were damaged. Additionally, our defenders continue to eliminate enemy shelters, with eight destroyed today.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted 22 times to dislodge our units from their positions. Combat took place in the areas of Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Novoiehorivka, Druzhnyivka, Hrekivka, and Nevske. Currently, fighting continues near Petropavlivka, Berestove, and Novoiehorivka. The situation remains controlled.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy lost 69 personnel today. A Russian air defense system and two guns were destroyed, and another artillery system was damaged.

In the Lyman direction, three attempts by the enemy to advance were repelled. Fighting continues near Terni.

In the Kramatorsk direction, an enemy attack was repelled near Ivanivka, and another clash is ongoing near Andriivka. Our units control the situation.

In other directions, the situation has not undergone significant changes.

Earlier, the General Staff reported that enemy activity in the Kupiansk direction had almost doubled since the start of the day.
