On the night of October 13, Russia carried out another attack on Ukrainian territory, using 82 Shahed and Gerbera strike drones, as well as other types of drones, according to the Air Force.

The attack was carried out from the directions of Oryol, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. About 50 of the UAVs were Shahed strike drones.

According to the Air Force, the air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups, and unmanned systems of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

As of 9:00 a.m., air defense forces had shot down or suppressed 69 drones in the north, east, and south of the country.

13 strikes by attack drones were recorded in seven locations. Debris from downed aircraft fell in two places.

The attack continues - enemy UAVs are still in Ukrainian airspace. The defense forces urge citizens to follow safety rules and stay in shelters during air raid alerts.

Attack on October 13

On the evening of October 12, the Russian army launched several groups of strike drones. An alarm was also sounded at night due to the threat of a ballistic strike.

Enemy drones were spotted in various regions of the country. Around 2 a.m. on October 13, explosions were heard in the Odesa region. As a result of the Russian attack, a large-scale fire broke out in the Odesa region, covering an area of more than 5,000 square meters. The fire engulfed several warehouses that stored fabrics, clothing, and packaging materials.

Kharkiv was also targeted by a drone attack at night.
