'Russia understands only force': Ukraine calls for sanctions after horrible Kremenchuk attack

Russian forces carried out a combined overnight attack on Ukraine's Kremenchuk in the Poltava region in the early hours of June 15, informs the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
The strikes targeted energy and agricultural infrastructure. Residential buildings and vehicles were also damaged.
The Foreign Ministry described it as a night of horror for the city.
Preliminary reports indicate there were no civilian casualties. However, the explosions and debris triggered large fires and caused significant damage to private homes and cars.
The Foreign Ministry emphasized that Russia cannot be stopped by statements alone. It only understands the language of force. That's why the world must take decisive action: impose the toughest sanctions and strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities.
"Russia cannot be stopped with words alone. It only understands the language of force. Today, the world must impose the strongest possible sanctions to force Russia into peace, as well as strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities to protect our people," the statement added.
