Ukrainian Forces repelled 16 enemy attacks on the Bahmut direction and continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol direction. Rocket troops units struck 9 enemy artillery pieces, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russians shelling

Over the past day, there were 87 combat engagements. The enemy conducted a total of 14 missile and 80 aviation strikes, as well as 68 shelling attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and civilian areas.

During the last day, the occupiers attacked Ukraine using 21 combat UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type. All enemy drones were successfully neutralized. Unfortunately, due to Russian terrorist attacks, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Private residential houses and other civilian infrastructure have sustained damage and destruction.

The following areas experienced aviation strikes:

  • Ivanivka, Stepova-Novoselivka in the Kharkiv region;
  • Spirne, Chasiv Yar, Toretsk in the Donetsk region;
  • Zmiivka, Berislav, Kozatske in the Kherson region.

Over 100 populated areas in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kherson regions came under artillery fire.

The frontline situation

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains largely unchanged.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the transfer of our forces to critical directions, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy launched unsuccessful assault actions near Synkivka and Petropavlivka in the Kharkiv region, where Defense Forces repelled 5 attacks.

In the Lyman direction, our forces repelled 4 attacks by occupiers near Terniv in the Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy conducted assault actions in the areas of Bohdanivka, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, and Pivnichne in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian defenders repelled 16 attacks in this area.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue assault operations south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, inflicting losses on the enemy in personnel and equipment and consolidating their positions at the achieved lines.

In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy persists in attempts to encircle Avdiivka. Our troops steadfastly maintain their defense, inflicting significant losses on the aggressors. The enemy's offensive actions south of Novokalynove, Stepove, Avdiivka, Tonenke, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region were unsuccessful, with the Defense Forces repelling 27 attacks.

In the Maryinka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 17 enemy attacks in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault actions southwest of Staromykhailivka and Vodyane in the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy launched unsuccessful assault actions west of Verbovе and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region, where our defenders repelled 9 enemy attacks.

Offensive by Ukrainian Armed Forces

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, inflicting losses on the occupying forces in personnel and equipment, and wearing down the enemy along the entire front line.

In the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces maintain their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro, engage in counter-battery warfare, and deliver artillery strikes on the enemy's rear areas.

Enemy losses

During the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces delivered 13 strikes on areas with concentrations of personnel, weaponry, and military equipment, and 3 strikes on enemy air defense missile systems.

Units of the missile forces struck the command post, 5 air defense systems, 9 artillery pieces, an ammunition depot, and the enemy's radio-electronic warfare station.

The total number of losses in the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 326,440 military personnel.
