Ukrainian military forces successfully defended their position in the Avdiivka sector by repelling 23 enemy attacks. They continue to hold their ground on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Additionally, rocket troops targeted and struck 11 areas containing military personnel, weaponry, and equipment, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian shelling

Over the last 24 hours, there were 58 combat engagements, with a total of 4 missiles and 109 air strikes launched by the enemy. Additionally, they fired 59 times from multiple launch rocket systems at both our troops and populated areas. Yesterday, Russian occupants carried out an air strike on Ukraine using 87 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs, but all enemy drones were successfully destroyed.

Regrettably, these terrorist attacks by the Russian forces resulted in civilian casualties. Private homes and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged. In addition, on this day the occupiers again attacked our country with Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs. Information on the consequences is currently being clarified.

Air attacks were carried out in:

  • Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Kyslivka, Berestove in the Kharkiv region;
  • Stelmakhivka, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region;
  • Terny, Novomykhailivka, Donetsk region.

More than 100 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, and Kherson regions came under artillery fire.

The situation at the frontlines

The current conditions in the Volyn and Polissya directions persist.

Along the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the opposing forces uphold their military standoff in border locations, execute deliberate sabotage operations, preventing the deployment of our troops to at-risk territories, and amplify the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy conducted assault operations near Synkivka and Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region, which were repelled by the Defense Forces who defended against four attacks.

In the Lyman direction, no offensive actions were carried out by the occupants.

In the Bakhmut direction, our troops successfully repelled ten enemy attacks near Klishchiivka and Andriivka in the Donetsk region.

The Ukrainian defense forces are carrying out assault operations to the south of Bakhmut, in the Donetsk region, causing losses in personnel and equipment among the invaders, while also consolidating their positions.

In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy, supported by aviation, is continuously attempting to encircle Avdiivka. Nevertheless, our soldiers remain steadfastly holding the line and inflicting significant losses on the occupiers.

The enemy's attempted offensive in the areas of Stepove, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, and southern Novokalynove in the Donetsk region did not succeed. Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled 23 attacks in those locations.

In the Maryinka direction, the opposing forces carried out assault operations in Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. The Defense Forces successfully repelled 9 of these attacks.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the opposing forces conducted unsuccessful assault operations to the south of Zolota Niva and to the east of Staromaiorsk in the Donetsk region.

The enemy also made 8 unsuccessful attempts to regain their lost position near Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia direction.

Offensive by Ukrainian Armed Forces

The Ukrainian Defense Forces are currently engaged in an offensive within the Melitopol direction, resulting in losses of manpower and equipment for the occupation forces. They are also significantly weakening the enemy lines across the whole front.

Our soldiers within the Kherson direction are holding their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River, engaging in counter-battery combat, and targeting the enemy's rear with fire.

Enemy losses

Over the past day, Defense Forces aircraft launched 11 strikes on enemy areas of concentration for personnel, weapons, and military equipment, while missile troops targeted 11 personnel, weapons,

and military equipment concentration sites, 4 artillery units, a command and control center, and an ammunition depot.
