Ukrainian Forces successfully repelled 30 enemy attacks in the Avdiivka direction and are continuing their assault south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. Missile units inflicted damage on two artillery units and a logistics center of the adversary, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russians shelling

Over the past 24 hours, there were 74 military confrontations. The enemy conducted a total of 7 missile and 29 aviation strikes, as well as 36 shelling attacks from rocket artillery systems on the positions of our troops and civilian settlements. Unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population as a result of Russian terrorist attacks.

During the previous day, Russian occupiers carried out an aerial strike on Ukraine, employing 6 combat UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type. All hostile drones were successfully neutralized. The occupiers continue their aerial attacks on Ukraine, persisting in using the Shahed-136/131 combat UAVs. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have suffered destruction and damage.

The targets of the aviation strikes included:

  • Serebryanske Forestry Area in Luhansk region;

  • Spirne, Klishchiivka, Zorya, Avdiivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region;

  • Zmiyivka, Novoberyslav, Mykolaivka, Olhivka, Lvove in Kherson region.

More than 140 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kherson regions found themselves under artillery bombardment.

The frontline situation

In the Volyn and Polissya directions, the operational situation remains relatively unchanged.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the adversary maintains military presence in border areas, actively engages in subversive activities to prevent the redeployment of our forces to critical directions, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy, with the support of aviation, conducted assault operations in the areas of Synkivka and Petropavlivka in the Kharkiv region, as well as Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region. Defense forces successfully repelled 15 attacks in these areas.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy conducted assault operations in the area of the Serebryanske Forestry Area in the Luhansk region but did not achieve success.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian Forces repelled 11 enemy attacks near Bohdanivka, Ivanivka, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region.

Ukrainian Defense Forces continue assault operations south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, inflicting losses on the enemy in personnel and equipment, and consolidating their positions on the achieved front lines.

In the Avdiivka direction, with the support of aviation, the enemy persists in attempting to encircle Avdiivka. Ukrainian Forces resiliently maintain their defense, inflicting significant losses on the enemy.

The enemy's offensive actions east of Novokalynove, Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka, Siverske, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region were unsuccessful. Ukrainian defenders repelled 30 attacks in this area.

In the Maryinka direction, with the support of aviation, the enemy conducted assault operations in the areas of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. Defense Forces successfully repelled 10 attacks.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy did not engage in offensive (assault) actions.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy made 7 unsuccessful attempts to regain lost positions near Robotyne and Novopokrovka in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Offensive by Ukrainian Armed Forces

Ukrainian Defense Forces persist in conducting an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, inflicting losses on occupying forces in both personnel and equipment. They are systematically wearing down the enemy along the entire frontline.

In the Kherson direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River, engaging in counter-battery combat and delivering effective fire strikes on the enemy's rear areas.

Enemy losses

Over the past 24 hours, the aviation units of the Defense Forces conducted 9 strikes on areas with concentrations of enemy personnel, weaponry, and military equipment.

Rocket units targeted 2 command centers, 4 areas with concentrations of personnel, weaponry, and military equipment, 2 artillery units, and a logistics center of the enemy.

The cumulative losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion amount to 322,900 military personnel.
