Ukrainian forces repelled 20 enemy attacks in the Bahmut sector and continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol direction. Missile troops units targeted the enemy's ammunition depot, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian shelling

Over the past 24 hours, there have been 70 clashes reported. The enemy carried out 5 missile strikes, conducted 10 aerial attacks, and executed 20 barrages from reactive multiple rocket launchers on the positions of our forces and civilian settlements.

Unfortunately, due to Russian terrorist attacks, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Private residences and other civilian infrastructure have suffered damage and destruction.

Among the affected areas were subjected to aerial strikes:

  • Kostobobriv in the Chernihiv region;

  • Seredyna-Buda in the Sumy region.

More than 110 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kherson regions are currently under artillery bombardment.

The frontline situation

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains relatively unchanged.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the adversary maintains a military presence in border areas, actively engages in sabotage activities to prevent the redeployment of our forces to critical sectors, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy launched assault operations in the areas of Synkivka and east of Petropavlivka in the Kharkiv region, where Defense Forces successfully repelled 10 attacks.

In the Lyman direction, the occupiers did not engage in offensive (assault) actions.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled 20 enemy attacks in the areas of Klishchiivka, Andriivka, and east of the South Donetsk region.

Furthermore, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their assault operations south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, inflicting losses on the enemy in personnel and equipment while consolidating their positions at achieved frontlines.

In the Avdiivka direction, invaders persist in their attempts to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers resiliently maintain their defense, inflicting significant losses on the enemy.

Unsuccessful were the offensive actions of the adversary east of Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region, where Defense Forces repelled 10 attacks.

In the Maryinka direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the areas of Maryinka, Pobeda, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where defensive forces repelled 12 attacks.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the adversary's attempts at unsuccessful assault operations were noted in the vicinity of Staramaiorsk in the Donetsk region, where our defenders repelled 2 attacks.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy carried out assault operations near Robotyne and northwest of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region, but without success.

Offensive by Ukrainian Armed Forces

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensive operations in the Melitopol direction, inflicting losses on the occupying forces in personnel and equipment, and exhausting the enemy along the entire frontline.

In the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces maintain their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River, conducting counter-battery warfare and delivering artillery strikes on the enemy's rear.

Enemy losses

During the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Defense Forces aviation conducted 2 strikes targeting areas with concentrations of enemy personnel.

Rocket units successfully targeted the enemy's ammunition depots.

The total casualties of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion amount to 319,210 military personnel.
