Russia-Ukraine war: Situation on the front as of November 11

Russians attacks

Over the past 24 hours, there have been 71 combat incidents reported. The enemy conducted a total of one missile and 41 aerial strikes, along with 44 barrages from multiple rocket launchers targeting the positions of our forces and civilian settlements, as indicated by updates from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

Private residential homes and other civilian infrastructure have suffered damages and destruction. There are reported casualties and injuries among the civilian population.

The frontline situation

The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains challenging.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, there have been no significant changes in the operational situation. There are no signs of the formation of offensive groupings. Identified units of the Belarusian armed forces are carrying out tasks in border areas with Ukraine.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the adversary maintains military presence in border areas, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, fires upon populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine.

Approximately 20 populated areas, including Zaliznyi Mist, Halahanivka, Leonivka in the Chernihiv region; Seredyna Buda, Stepok, Basyvka in the Sumy region; Staritsa, Mali Prokhody, Vovchanski Khutory in the Kharkiv region, experienced enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Kupiansk direction, the adversary conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the areas of Synkivka and Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region, as well as Stelmakhivka and Nadiya in the Luhansk region, where our forces repelled seven attacks. The enemy carried out aerial strikes in the regions of Kyslivka and Stepova Novoselivka in the Kharkiv region. Approximately 10 populated areas, including Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region, were subjected to artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy, supported by aviation, conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the area of Serebrianske Forestry area in the Luhansk region. Additionally, the adversary carried out aerial strikes in the regions of Kopanky in the Kharkiv region, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, Terniv, Siverske, and Spirne in the Donetsk region. Approximately 10 populated areas, including Nevske, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Torske, Serebrianka, Spirne, Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region, were affected by enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy, supported by aviation, engaged in assault operations in the areas of Klishchiivka and Andriivka in the Donetsk region, where our defenders repelled 10 attacks. The adversary also carried out an aviation strike in the vicinity of Kurdiumivka in the Donetsk region. Approximately 10 populated areas, including Klishchiivka, Kurdiumivka, Ivanivske, and New York in the Donetsk region, were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy, supported by aviation, conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the areas of Avdiivka, Severne, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region, where the Defense Forces repelled 14 attacks. The adversary also delivered aerial strikes in the regions of Novobakhmutivka, Lastochkyne, and Orlivka in the Donetsk region. About 10 populated areas, including Berdychiv, Avdiivka, Severne, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region, experienced enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Maryinka direction, the enemy, supported by aviation, conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the areas of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where the Defense Forces repelled 17 attacks. Approximately 10 populated areas in the Donetsk region, including Heorgiivka, Maryinka, and Novomykhailivka, came under the artillery and mortar fire of the occupiers.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the adversary, supported by aviation, engaged in unsuccessful assault operations in the areas of Vuhledar, Zolota Niva, and Staromykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where our defenders repelled 11 attacks. Additionally, the enemy delivered an aviation strike in the vicinity of Urozhaine in the Donetsk region. About 10 populated areas, including Vodyane, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, and Staromykhailivka in the Donetsk region, experienced enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy, supported by aviation, engaged in unsuccessful assault operations in the vicinity of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region. Approximately 30 populated areas, including Malynivka, Huliaipole, Charivne, Robotyne, and Piatykhatky in the Zaporizhzhia region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Kherson direction, the adversary delivered an aviation strike in the region of the settlement of Tiahynka in the Kherson region. Artillery shelling affected Kherson, Chornobaivka, Stepanivka in the Kherson region, and Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv region.

Offensive by Ukrainian Armed Forces

Simultaneously, the Defense Forces continue their offensive operations in the Melitopol and Bakhmut directions, conducting assault actions on the latter. The Ukrainian Armed Forces inflict losses on occupying forces in personnel and equipment, gradually wearing down the enemy along the entire frontline.

Enemy losses

Over the course of the day, the aircraft of the Defense Forces conducted 10 strikes on areas where enemy personnel, weaponry, and military equipment were concentrated. Additionally, the Air Defense Forces of Ukraine successfully destroyed one S-400 surface-to-air missile.

Units of the missile forces targeted and inflicted damage on two artillery pieces, six areas of personnel concentration, armament, and military equipment, as well as two anti-aircraft defense systems of the enemy.
