Enemy attacks

Over the past day, the enemy conducted 16 airstrikes and carried out 54 rocket artillery attacks on the positions of our forces and populated areas. Unfortunately, there have been casualties among the civilian population due to Russian terrorist attacks. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have also suffered damage and destruction.

Airstrikes were carried out on: Novomykhailivka and Rivnopil in the Donetsk region; Novodarivka in the Zaporizhzhia region; and Berislav and Ivanivka in the Kherson region.

More than 110 populated areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions were under artillery fire.

The frontline situation

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group North in the Volyn and Polissya directions, the operational situation remains relatively stable.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the adversary maintains a military presence in border areas and conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the transfer of our troops to critical areas, increasing the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group Khortytsia in the Kupiansk direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault actions in the areas of the settlements Synkivka and Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region and Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region, where our defenders repelled about 20 enemy attacks.

In the Lyman direction, the occupiers did not engage in offensive (assault) actions.

In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled 5 enemy attacks near Bohdanivka and Khromove in the Donetsk region. Additionally, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to regain lost positions in the area of Andriivka. In turn, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their assault operations south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, causing losses to the enemy in personnel and equipment, and consolidating their positions on the achieved lines.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group Tavria in the Avdiivka direction, the enemy continues its attempts to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers are holding the defense steadfastly and inflicting significant losses on the enemy. The enemy's offensive actions in the areas of the settlements Stepove, Avdiivka, and Tonenke in the Donetsk region were unsuccessful, with over 20 attacks repelled by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

In the Maryinka direction, the enemy launched more than 25 unsuccessful attacks in the areas of Krasnohorivka and Maryinka in the Donetsk region.

In the Shakhtar and Zaporizhzhia directions, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault actions near Staromykhailivka in the Donetsk region; Chervone, Robotyne, and northwest of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region. In these areas, our defenders repelled more than 10 attacks.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, inflicting losses on the occupying forces in personnel and equipment, and wearing down the enemy along the entire front line.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group Odesa in the Kherson direction, Ukrainian soldiers are engaged in counter-battery combat, delivering fire strikes on the enemy's rear areas.

Enemy losses

Over the past day, the Air Force of the Defense Forces conducted 6 strikes on enemy personnel, equipment, and military vehicles concentration areas and 1 strike on an enemy air defense missile system.

Additionally, using anti-aircraft defense assets, they destroyed an enemy combat UAV of the Shahed-136/131 type and a reconnaissance UAV.

Missile troops units struck 3 artillery pieces, a command point, personnel, equipment, and military vehicle concentration areas, an air defense system, and another significant enemy target.
