Russian aggressors attempted four unsuccessful times to regain lost ground near Klishchiivka and Andriivka in the Donetsk region, according to the Ukrainian General Staff.

Russians' attacks

Over the course of 24 hours, there were 44 combat engagements. In total, the enemy carried out two missile and 34 aerial strikes, along with 36 shelling incidents using rocket artillery systems against Ukrainian positions and civilian settlements.

Furthermore, Russian occupiers launched another attack on Ukraine, employing one guided aviation missile X-59 and one guided missile X-31P. The air defense forces successfully intercepted and destroyed the X-59 missile.

As a result, there was damage to infrastructure, private residences, and other civilian infrastructure, and there are casualties among the civilian population.

The frontline situation

The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains complex.

In the Volyn and Polissya directions, there have been no significant changes in the operational situation. There are no signs of the formation of advancing groups. Identified units of the armed forces of Belarus are carrying out tasks in border areas with Ukraine.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the adversary maintains a military presence in border areas, conducts reconnaissance and subversive activities, shells populated areas from Russian territory, and increases the density of mine and explosive obstacles along the Ukrainian state border. The enemy has subjected approximately 15 populated areas to artillery and mortar shelling, including Basivka, Myropillya, Iskryskivschyna, Hrabovske in the Sumy region; Pletenivka, Nesterne, Stroyivka in the Kharkiv region.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy, with aviation support, conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the areas of Synkivka, north-east of Petropavlivka, and Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region, where Ukrainian forces repelled five attacks. The enemy also carried out an aviation strike near Nadiya in the Luhansk region. Topoli, Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region experienced artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy conducted aerial strikes in the areas of Serebriansky Forestry area of the Luhansk region and Terniv, Spirne, and Vesele in the Donetsk region. Approximately 10 populated areas also suffered from enemy artillery and mortar shelling, including Nevske, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Serebrianka, Torske, Spirne in the Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy made four unsuccessful attempts to regain lost positions near Klishchiivka and Andriivka in the Donetsk region. They carried out unsuccessful assault operations in the areas of Bohdanivka, Khromove, and Pivdennyi in the Donetsk region, where Ukrainian defenders repelled five more attacks. Approximately 10 populated areas, including Minkivka, Khromove, Klishchiivka, and New York in the Donetsk region, came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Avdiivka direction, with aviation support, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the areas of populated areas Avdiivka, Siverske, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully repelled six attacks in this sector. Additionally, the enemy carried out aerial strikes in the vicinity of populated areas Oleksandrivka, Avdiivka, and Ocheretine in the Donetsk region. Approximately 10 populated areas, including Stepove, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, and Netaylove in the Donetsk region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Maryinka direction, with aviation support, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the area of Maryinka in the Donetsk region, where Ukrainian defense forces repelled 17 attacks. The enemy also carried out an aviation strike near Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. Approximately 10 populated areas in the Donetsk region, including Heorhiivka, Maryinka, Paraskevivka, and Novomykhailivka, came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy launched an aviation strike in the vicinity of Staromykhailivka in the Donetsk region. About 10 populated areas in the Donetsk region, including Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Niva, and Urozhaine, experienced artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations northwest of Verbove, Robotyne, and north of Nesteryanky and Piatyhatky in the Zaporizhzhia region. Over 20 populated areas were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling, including Poltavka, Chervone, Huliay Pole, Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne, and Kamianske in the Zaporizhzhia region, as well as Marhanets in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

In the Kherson direction, the enemy launched aviation strikes in the areas of populated areas Respublikanets, Lvove, and Tyahynka in the Kherson region. Populated areas Kherson in the Kherson region and Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv region were also affected by enemy artillery shelling.

Offensive by Ukrainian Armed Forces

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol direction and conduct advancing (assault) actions in the Bakhmut direction. The Ukrainian Armed Forces inflict losses on the occupying troops in personnel and equipment, and they are exerting pressure on the enemy along the entire front line.

Enemy losses

During the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian defense aviation conducted 10 strikes targeting enemy personnel, equipment, and military vehicles. Additionally, Ukraine's air defense forces successfully neutralized four reconnaissance UAVs.

Units of the missile forces struck three artillery pieces and four areas with the concentration of enemy personnel, equipment, and military vehicles.
