Ukrainian forces continue their offensive operations in the Bakhmut and Melitopol directions. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are also maintaining their defensive positions and inflicting significant losses on the occupiers in the Avdiivka area. Over the past day, there have been 66 combat clashes, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Enemy attacks
Over the past day, the enemy conducted 2 missile strikes and 62 airstrikes, along with 77 shelling incidents using rocket artillery systems targeting our troops' positions and populated areas.
Regrettably, due to Russian terrorist attacks, there have been casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Private residential houses and other civilian infrastructure have suffered damage and destruction.
The following locations were subjected to aerial strikes: Novoselivka, Petropavlivka, Novoosynove, Pishchane, Proletarske in the Kharkiv region; Nadiya, Serebriansky Forestry in the Luhansk region; Serebrianka, Siversk, Khromove, Klischiivka, Oleksandrivka, Novokalynove, Berdychiv, Novoselivka Persha, Avdiivka, Orlivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Vodyane, Vuhledar, Zolota Niva, Staromayorske in the Donetsk region.
Over 110 populated areas in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.
The frontline situation
In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group "North" in the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains relatively stable with no significant changes.
In the Siversky and Slobozhanske directions, the adversary maintains a military presence in border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the relocation of our forces to critical directions, and increases the density of mine-explosive obstacles along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group "Khortytsia" in the Kupiansk direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful assault actions near Synkivka, Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region, and Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region. Our defenders repelled approximately 10 enemy attacks in these areas.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the area of Verkhniokamianske in the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to regain lost positions near Klishchiivka, where our defenders repelled approximately 10 attacks. The adversary also conducted unsuccessful assault actions in the areas of Bohdanivka and Khromove in the Donetsk region. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their assault operations south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, inflicting losses on the enemy in personnel and equipment, and consolidating their positions along the achieved lines.
In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group "Tavria" in the Avdiivka direction, the enemy, supported by aviation, continues its attempts to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers are holding their defense steadfastly and inflicting significant losses on the occupiers. The enemy's offensive actions in the areas of the settlements of Stepove, Tonenke, Avdiivka, Siverske, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region were unsuccessful. Here, the Ukrainian forces repelled about 20 enemy attacks.
In the Mariupol direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the areas of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where Ukrainian troops repelled about 20 enemy attacks.
In the Shakhtar direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations near the settlement of Staromykhailivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to regain their lost position near Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Simultaneously, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, inflicting losses on the occupying forces in personnel and equipment, and wearing down the enemy along the entire front line.
In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group "Odesa" in the Kherson direction, our troops are engaged in counter-battery combat, delivering fire strikes on the enemy's rear positions.
Enemy losses
Over the past day, the aviation of the Armed Forces carried out 9 strikes on areas where enemy personnel, equipment, and military vehicles are concentrated, and 2 strikes on the enemy's air defense missile systems.
The missile forces units hit 7 areas where enemy personnel, equipment, and military vehicles are concentrated, an electronic warfare station, a radar station, 2 ammunition depots, and 10 artillery pieces of the enemy.
