Our defenders repelled over 20 enemy attacks on the Avdiivka and Marinka directions, continuing assault actions south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, delivering 15 strikes to the areas of enemy personnel concentration, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian shelling

The Russian Federation continues to disregard the laws and customs of warfare, employing tactics of terror, launching missile and aviation strikes, and conducting artillery shelling, not only targeting military but also numerous civilian objects in our country.

Over the past day, there were 68 military clashes in total. The enemy delivered 8 missile and 97 aviation strikes, as well as conducted 84 artillery shelling using multiple rocket launch systems against the positions of our forces and populated areas. Unfortunately, there have been casualties among the civilian population due to Russian terrorist attacks. Private residential houses and other civilian infrastructure have also suffered damages and destruction.

Furthermore, during the night, Russian occupiers launched another rocket and aviation strike against Ukraine, using a guided aviation missile Kh-59 and 20 combat UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type. 1 missile and 18 combat UAVs were destroyed by the anti-aircraft defense forces. Information regarding the consequences of this terrorist attack is currently being clarified.

The following areas experienced aviation strikes:

Pishchane, Novoserhiivka, Cherneshchyna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Podoly in the Kharkiv region;

Serebrianske Forestry, Makiivka in the Luhansk region;

Verkhniokamianske, Oleksandrivka, Orlivka, Spirne, Novobakhmutivka, Ocheretyne, Avdiivka, Lastochkyne, Kostiantynivka, Veselyi Hai, Hannivka, Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region;

Malynivka, Novodanylivka in the Zaporizhhia region;

Urozhaine, Mykilske, Ivanivka, Beryslav, Kozatske, Sadove, Tyahynka, Lvove in the Kherson region.

More than 140 populated areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions were subjected to artillery fire.

Frontline situation

The operational situation remains largely unchanged in the Volyn and Polissia directions.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, actively conducts sabotage operations to prevent the redeployment of our troops to threatening directions, and increases the density of mine-explosive obstacles along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to regain its lost position in the areas of populated areas Synkivka, Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region, and Nadiia in the Luhansk region, where our defenders repelled more than 10 enemy attacks.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to restore its position near Klishchiivka and Andriivka, where our defenders repelled 5 enemy attacks. Additionally, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault actions south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue their assault actions south of Bakhmut, inflicting losses on the enemy in personnel and equipment, consolidating their achieved positions.

In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy does not cease attempts to encircle Avdiivka. They employ aviation support for their forces. Our soldiers steadfastly hold the defense and inflict significant losses on the enemy. Thus, the invaders' offensive actions in the areas of populated areas Avdiivka, Keramik, Severne, Pervomaiske, and Stepove in the Donetsk region, were unsuccessful, with our defenders repelling about 20 attacks.

In the Marinka direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault actions in the areas of Marinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. Here, Ukrainian soldiers repelled more than 20 enemy attacks.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault actions near Prechystivka and Zolota Nyva in the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy attempted to restore its lost position in the area of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region but was unsuccessful.

UAF advance

Meanwhile, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, inflicting losses on the occupation forces in personnel and equipment, wearing down the enemy along the entire front line.

In the Kherson direction, the Armed Forces conduct counter-battery operations, delivering fire strikes against the enemy's rear.

Enemy losses

Over the past day, the Armed Forces' aviation delivered 15 strikes on the areas of enemy personnel concentration, equipment, and military vehicles, 1 strike on a command point, and 2 strikes on anti-aircraft missile complexes of the enemy.

The rocket forces units hit 3 radar stations, 2 ammunition depots, 1 area of enemy personnel concentration, equipment, and military vehicles, as well as 8 enemy artillery pieces.

The total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion amounts to over 300,000 military personnel.
