Ukrainian forces continue to defend the eastern and southern fronts, conducting offensive operations in the Melitopol and Bakhmut directions. In the past day, there have been approximately 80 combat clashes, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Enemy attacks

The Kremlin's terrorist forces cynically launched another missile strike on civilian infrastructure, this time targeting the Nova Poshta terminal in the Kharkiv region. As a result of the attack, six people were killed, and 16 were injured.

During the past day, there were over 80 combat clashes. In total, the enemy launched 6 missile strikes and 53 aerial attacks and conducted 54 artillery shelling from multiple launch rocket systems on our military positions and populated areas.

Unfortunately, there have been casualties and injuries among the civilian population due to Russian terrorist attacks. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have suffered destruction and damage.

Also, during the night, Russian occupiers carried out another missile and aviation strike on Ukraine, using guided aviation missile Kh-59, guided surface-to-air missiles S-300, and 3 combat drones of the Shahed-136/131 type.

Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed one guided aviation missile Kh-59 and 3 Shaheds.

Aerial strikes were reported in Spirne, Klishchiivka, New York, Avdiivka, Novobakhmutivka, Novokalynove, Novomykhailivka, Staryi Mayorsk in the Donetsk region; Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka in the Zaporizhzhia region; Olhivka, Tokarivka, Antonivka, Burhunka, Mykolaivka, Tyahinka in the Kherson region.

Around 100 populated areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson came under artillery fire.

Frontline situation

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group North, the operational situation remains relatively stable on the Volyn and Polissya fronts.

On the Siversk and Slobozhanske fronts, the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, actively conducting sabotage activities to prevent the redeployment of our troops to critical directions, and increasing the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group Khortytsia, on the Kupiansk front, Ukrainian forces repelled more than 15 enemy attacks in the areas of Synkivka, Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region, and Nadiia in Luhansk region.

On the Lyman front, defense forces repelled more than 10 enemy attacks in the areas of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, Serebrianske forest, and Spirne in the Donetsk region.

On the Bakhmut front, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled all enemy attacks in the areas of Vasukivka and Andriivka in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian defense forces continue to carry out offensive operations south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, causing casualties and losses to the enemy, consolidating their positions along the achieved lines.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group Tavria, on the Avdiivka front, the enemy attempts to encircle Avdiivka but Ukrainian forces are steadfastly holding their defense, inflicting significant losses on the enemy. Enemy advances in the Keramik, Avdiivka, Stepove, Tonenke, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region were unsuccessful. Defense forces repelled more than 15 enemy attacks in this area.

On the Maryinka front, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the areas of Maryinka, Krasnohorivka, and Pobieda in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian forces repelled more than 20 enemy attacks.

On the Shakhtarsk and Zaporizhzhia fronts, our defenders successfully repelled all enemy attacks in the areas of Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Staromaiorske in the Donetsk region, and north of Pryiutne in the Zaporizhia region.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian defense forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, causing losses to the occupying forces in personnel and equipment, and exhausting the enemy along the entire frontline.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group Odesa, on the Kherson front, Ukrainian forces engage in counter-battery warfare and deliver fire strikes to the enemy's rear positions.

Enemy losses

In the past day, Ukrainian defense aviation conducted 12 strikes in the areas where enemy personnel, equipment, and military vehicles were concentrated.

Missile forces units targeted 7 artillery pieces, a radar station, an ammunition depot, a surface-to-air missile complex, and two areas where enemy personnel, equipment, and military vehicles were concentrated.
