Enemy attacks

Russian occupiers continue to disregard international humanitarian law, conducting shelling not only against Ukrainian military positions but also against the civilian infrastructure in populated areas, terrorizing peaceful residents. Unfortunately, as a result of such terrorist actions by the enemy, there are injuries among the civilian population, and residential buildings and civilian infrastructure have been destroyed.

The enemy carried out 59 air strikes and conducted 36 shelling attacks using multiple launch rocket systems, targeting both Ukrainian military positions and civilian objects within our country. Occupiers launched 17 Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones against Ukraine, all of which were successfully neutralized by Ukraine's air defense means.

Aerial strikes targeted the populated areas of Leonivka and Hremiach in Chernihiv region; Strilecha and Kotlyarivka in Kharkiv region; Novoselivka, Novoehorivka, Makiivka, Nevske, and Bilohorivka in Luhansk region; Spirne, Vesele, Bohdanivka, New York, Krasnohorivka, Urozhaine, Staromykhailivka in Donetsk region; Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia region.

Over 100 populated areas in the Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions came under artillery fire.

The frontline situation

In the area of responsibility of the Ukrainian Joint Forces Operation "North" in the Volyn and Polissya directions, the operational situation remains largely unchanged.

On the SSiversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy continues to maintain troop groupings to cover the state border and conducts active subversive activities in border areas to prevent the redeployment of Ukrainian forces to threatened directions. The enemy is also increasing the density of mines and explosive obstacles along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of the Ukrainian Joint Forces Operation "Khortytsia" in the Bakhmut direction, the enemy made unsuccessful attempts to break through the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Yahidne and Bohdanivka in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian Defense Forces, in turn, achieved success in the area of Klishchivka in the Donetsk region as a result of offensive (assault) actions.

In the area of responsibility of the Ukrainian Joint Forces Operation "Tavria" in the Maryinka direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Maryinka in the Donetsk region. During the past day, the enemy made 13 unsuccessful attempts to displace our units from their positions.

Furthermore, all enemy attacks in the vicinity of Urozhaine in the Donetsk region resulted in significant losses for the occupiers, both in terms of personnel and equipment. Meanwhile, on the Avdiivka, Maryinka, and Shakhtarsk directions, Ukrainian soldiers maintain the initiative, exert pressure on the enemy, conduct assault operations, and reclaim our territory.

In the Melitopol direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensive operation, inflicting significant losses on the occupying forces in terms of personnel and equipment, forcing the enemy to withdraw from their positions. As a result of the assault actions, Ukrainian forces achieve partial success in the areas of Verbove and Novoprokopivka in the Zaporizhzhia region, displacing the enemy from their positions and consolidating on the achieved frontlines.

In the area of responsibility of the Ukrainian Joint Forces Operation "Odesa" in the Kherson direction, our defenders continue counter-battery combat, destroy supply depots, and successfully strike at the enemy's rear positions.

During the past 24 hours, the defense forces' aviation carried out 3 strikes on areas where enemy personnel, weaponry, and military equipment were concentrated.
