Ukrainian military forces are holding back the Russian advance on five fronts while successfully launching attacks in the Zaporizhzhia region. The defenders have also managed to destroy one of the occupiers' air defense systems, as the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
Russian attacks
During the night, the Russians launched another missile strike on the infrastructure facility in Mykolaiv.
The enemy carried out 22 airstrikes and approximately 30 artillery strikes. Unfortunately, civilian infrastructure was destroyed, and civilians were affected.
Frontline situation
The Russians are concentrating their main efforts in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariupol directions, where heavy fighting is ongoing. There have been 17 military clashes in the past 24 hours.
The operational situation on the Volyn and Polissia fronts remains relatively stable.
On the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi fronts, the enemy conducted airstrikes in the areas of Basove, Odnorobivka, and Veterynarne in the Kharkiv region.
They also carried out mortar and artillery shelling on approximately 10 settlements.
On the Kupiansk front, Ukraine's troops are holding the defense steadfastly. The enemy's artillery and mortar shelling affected 6 settlements in the Kharkiv region.
On the Lyman front, the enemy conducted airstrikes in the areas of the settlements Rozdolivka and Bilohorivka in the Donetsk region.
More than 15 settlements, including Nevske, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region, were shelled by artillery.
In the Bakhmut direction, under heavy enemy fire from aviation and artillery, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled attacks in the area of the settlement of Hryhorivka in the Donetsk region. The enemy carried out an airstrike near Toretsk.
Over 10 settlements were affected by enemy artillery shelling in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, the Defense Forces continue to restrain the Russian forces' advance in the area of Severne in the Donetsk region. The enemy conducted an airstrike in the area of Avdiivka. At the same time, the enemy carried out artillery shelling on more than 10 settlements.
On the Mariupol front, under enemy artillery fire, Ukraine's defenders repelled all enemy attacks in the areas of Marinka and Krasnohorivka. The enemy also conducted an airstrike near Krasnohorivka. Over 10 settlements were shelled.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy's offensive actions in the Novomykhailivka area of the Donetsk region were unsuccessful. They conducted an airstrike near Odradne in the Donetsk region. Over 10 settlements were shelled, including Vuhledar, Storozheve, and Blahodatne in the Donetsk region.
On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson fronts, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on preventing further advancement of Ukrainian forces. They conducted artillery shelling on more than 20 settlements.
Ukraine's offensive
The Ukrainian forces continue their offensive operations in the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions. They are consolidating their positions, delivering artillery strikes on identified enemy targets, and conducting counter-battery measures.
Russian losses
During the day, the defense aviation conducted four strikes on the enemy's personnel, weaponry, and military equipment concentration areas. Ukrainian troops also destroyed three tactical-level reconnaissance UAVs.
Rocket forces and artillery units hit the enemy's command post, three areas of personnel, weaponry, and military equipment concentration, an ammunition depot, and seven artillery systems in firing positions, as well as one enemy air defense system.
In the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian forces eliminated another 440 Russians. Thus, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russians have lost approximately 234,480 personnel.
