Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of January 26

Since the start of the day, 93 combat engagements have occurred along the entire front line. Ukrainian Defense Forces are focusing their efforts on disrupting the plans of the Russian army, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The enemy carried out 67 airstrikes, dropping 144 guided bombs. In addition, 3,198 kamikaze drones were used, and 2,935 attacks targeted settlements and Ukrainian positions.
Situation on the fronts
In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, the enemy conducted five airstrikes, using 10 guided bombs, and carried out 67 attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including one with a multiple launch rocket system.
In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, enemy forces assaulted Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Prilipka, Vovchansk, Dvorichanske, and toward Lyman. Ukrainian units repelled five attacks.
Ukrainian defenders repelled two attacks near Petropavlivka in the Kupiansk direction.
In the Lyman direction, three attacks were stopped near Drobysheve and Lyman.
In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled two enemy advances near Platonivka and toward Yampil.
One attack was repelled in the Kramatorsk direction, in the area of Chasiv Yar.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, Russian forces launched 15 attacks on Ukrainian positions near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Kleban-Byk, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka, and toward Stepanivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 29 attacks, attempting advances near Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Molodetske, Filiia, and toward Shevchenko, Bilytske, and Hryshyne. Fighting is ongoing in some locations.
Preliminary estimates indicate that Ukrainian forces eliminated 44 enemy personnel and wounded 27, destroyed 50 drones, two vehicles, six artillery pieces, four automotive units, one special vehicle, an unmanned ground vehicle, and 15 enemy positions.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, Ukrainian units stopped four attacks near Zelenyi Hai and toward Nove Zaporizhia.
In the Huliaipole direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 13 enemy attacks near Huliaipole and toward Varvarivka and Dobropillia; one engagement is ongoing. Enemy airstrikes targeted settlements including Zaliznychne, Verkhnia Tersa, Velykomykhailivka, Charivne, Kopani, and Vozdvyzhivka.
In the Orikhiv direction, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions near Stepnohirsk. Airstrikes hit Yurkivka and Tavriiske.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, no enemy offensive actions were reported.
In total, Russian forces suffered 1,020 casualties over the past 24 hours. Ukrainian troops also destroyed three tanks, one armored combat vehicle, 32 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, 917 drones, 147 vehicles, and one special piece of enemy equipment.
