What is happening on the front
According to the latest report of the General Staff, as of the evening of January 25, there were 129 combat engagements on the front over the past day. The largest number of battles was recorded in the Pokrovsk direction.
The situation in the Kupiansk direction is difficult — the Russians are attempting to launch constant attacks there and break through forward, but they are failing. Recently, the head of the National Guard of Ukraine, Oleksandr Pivnenko, showed the clearing of Kupiansk of Russian troops.
Two more cities where fierce fighting with the Russians is ongoing are Huliaipole and Myrnohrad. However, these territories are currently under the control of the Ukrainian army, despite numerous fakes from Russian propaganda about the occupation of certain settlements.
Recently, the National Security and Defense Council explained why Moscow periodically spreads disinformation about the capture of Kupiansk, Pokrovsk, or other cities.
