Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of January 26

As of 4:00 p.m. Kyiv time on Monday, January 26, there have been 48 combat clashes on the front. The enemy launched assaults along 11 directions, with Pokrovsk being the hottest, according to the General Staff’s update.
Shelling of the areas of the settlements of Rohizne, Volfyne, Znob-Trubchevska, Ulanove, Shalyhyne, Bunyakine, Havrylova Sloboda, Stiahailivka, Budky, and Iskryskivshchyna in the Sumy region was carried out from Russian territory.
Situation on the fronts
In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Russian forces carried out four airstrikes, dropping nine bombs. They also shelled settlements and Defense Forces units 37 times, including one attack with MLRS.
In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy attacked three times near the settlements of Prylipka, Vovchansk, and in the direction of Lyman.
In the Kupiansk direction, Russian forces attacked twice toward Petropavlivka.
In the Lyman direction, three enemy attacks toward Drobysheve and Lyman were repelled. Two combat clashes are still ongoing.
In the Sloviansk direction, no combat clashes have been recorded since the beginning of the day.
In the Kramatorsk direction, one combat clash was recorded near the settlement of Chasiv Yar.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, the occupying forces attacked 10 times near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Sofiivka, and in the direction of Stepanivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces attacked 19 times near Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Molodetske, and toward Bilytske and Hryshyne. One battle is still ongoing.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, there was one enemy attack toward Nove Zaporizhzhia.
In the Huliaipole direction, the Defense Forces repelled seven enemy attacks near Huliaipole, toward Varvarivka, and toward Dobropillia. Russian aviation also struck the settlements of Zaliznychne, Verkhnia Tersa, Velykomykhailivka, Charivne, Kopani, and Vozdvizhivka.
In the Orikhiv direction, Russian forces attacked Defense Forces positions near Stepnohirsk. Airstrikes hit Yurkivka and Tavriiske.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy carried out no offensive actions.
As of January 26, Russian losses over the past day amounted to 1,020 soldiers and over 900 drones. In addition, the Defense Forces inflicted significant losses on enemy equipment.
