Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of January 15

As of 04:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 15, there have been 74 clashes on the front. The hottest direction is Pokrovsk, where 26 enemy assaults were recorded, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian artillery struck areas of Ryzhivka, Rohizne, Bezsalivka, Volfyne, Kucherivka, Iskryskivshchyna, Prohres, and Shpyl in the Sumy region.
Situation on the fronts
In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Russia carried out an airstrike using two guided bombs and conducted 69 shellings, including two with MLRS. Ukrainian defenders repelled one enemy attack.
In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, five enemy assaults were recorded near Vovchansk, Prylipka, Tykhe, and toward Izbytske and Kruhle. One clash is still ongoing.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy assaulted twice toward Pishchane and Kurylivka.
In the Lyman direction, five clashes occurred near Zarichne, Novoselivka, and toward Lyman and Stavky. One battle is still ongoing.
In the Sloviansk direction, one clash was recorded near Siversk.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled four enemy attacks near Vasiukivka, Fedorivka, and toward Pryvillia and Minkivka.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, nine enemy attacks occurred near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Rusyn Yar, and toward Novopavlivka and Sofiivka. Four clashes are still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces assaulted 26 times near Nikanorivka, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Filiia, and toward Rodynske. Twenty-two attacks have already been repelled, while four clashes continue.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, five enemy attacks were repelled near Vyshneve and toward Ivanivka, Andriivka-Klevtsove, and Nove Zaporizhzhia.
In the Huliaipole direction, the Defense Forces repelled five attacks near Solodke, Huliaipole, and toward Dobropillia and Olenokostiantynivka. Four clashes are still ongoing. Additionally, Russia carried out airstrikes on Rizdvianivka, Samiilivka, Hirke, and Vozdvyzhivka.
In the Orikhiv direction, three clashes occurred near Stepnohirsk and Stepove. Another battle is still ongoing.
No enemy offensive actions have been recorded in the Prydniprovskyi direction.
Russian losses in the war
According to the General Staff, since the start of the full-scale war, Russia has lost approximately 1,223,090 troops. In the past 24 hours, Russian forces lost 1,150 personnel.
