As of 10:00 p.m. Kyiv time on December 3, there were 158 combat engagements on the front since the beginning of the day. The highest number of clashes was recorded in the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka directions, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian attacks

During the day, the Russian army carried out one missile strike and 39 airstrikes, using one missile and dropping 99 guided bombs. In addition, the Russians deployed 3,409 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,447 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.

Frontline situation

In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled four Russian attacks. Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has carried out 162 attacks, including one using a multiple launch rocket system.

In the Southern-Slobozhansky direction, our troops repelled 15 enemy attacks in the areas of Starytsia, Vovchansk, Synelnykove, Ambarne, Prilipka, and in the directions of Kolodiazne and Kutkivka. Two clashes are still ongoing.

In the Kupiansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled two enemy attacks in the areas of Pishchane and Petropavlivka.

In the Lyman direction, over the course of the day, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions nine times in the areas of Nadiya, Derylove, Hrekivka, Novoehorivka, Zarichne, Myrne, and in the direction of Stavky. Two clashes are currently ongoing.

In the Sloviansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled nine enemy attacks near Yampil, Dronivka, Serebrianka, and Siversk. One clash is still ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, three clashes with the enemy occurred in the area of Chasiv Yar.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, Russian forces attacked Defense Forces positions 29 times. The main offensive efforts were focused on the areas of Kostiantynivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Kleban-Byk, Rusyn Yar, and in the directions of Novopavlivka, Stepanivka, and Torske. One clash is currently ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, enemy units attempted to break through our defenses 36 times in the areas of Nove Shakhove, Chervonyi Lyman, Myrnohrad, Novoekonomichne, Nikanorivka, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novopavlivka, Filiya, and in the directions of Sofiyivka, Bilytske, and Hryshyne.

"Today, in this direction, Ukrainian soldiers have already neutralized 78 Russian soldiers, 48 of them irreversibly. Thirteen drones, three ground robotic complexes, six communication devices, one motorcycle, two units of special equipment, six electronic warfare systems, as well as an artillery system and a vehicle were destroyed. In addition, 16 enemy infantry positions were hit," the report said.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked 14 times in the areas of Yalta, Sosnivka, Verbove, Oleksandrohrad, Rybne, Krasnohirsk, Vyshneve, and Pryvilne.

In the Huliaipole direction, 12 clashes were recorded in Zatyshshia, Huliaipole, and in the directions of Pryluky, Dobropillia, and Varvarivka.

In the Orikhiv direction, no enemy offensive actions were recorded.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Ukrainian units repelled three attempts by the Russian army to advance near the Antonivskyi Bridge.

In other directions, the situation remained largely unchanged.

Russian army losses

The Russian forces continue to lose soldiers and equipment daily in the war against Ukraine. In particular, from December 2 to December 3, the enemy lost an additional 1,200 troops on the front. The Armed Forces of Ukraine also destroyed 12 artillery systems, 47 vehicles, and 90 drones.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russian losses have already reached nearly 1.2 million personnel.
