As of 22:00 Kyiv time on November 28, Ukrainian defenders reported 289 combat engagements with Russian forces over the past day, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.
Combat activity as of November 28
The enemy carried out 28 airstrikes, dropped 86 guided bombs, deployed 876 kamikaze drones, and conducted 2,264 artillery and rocket attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas.
In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi direction, four enemy assaults were repelled, three airstrikes were carried out, and 175 attacks were recorded, including six from multiple rocket launch systems (MRLS).
In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, ten enemy attacks were stopped in the areas of Vovchansk, Synelnykove, Lyman, and Dvorichna.
In the Kupiansk direction, 11 attacks were recorded, with one engagement ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, 37 attacks occurred across multiple settlements, with fighting continuing in 17 locations.
Enemy forces attempted to break through 15 times in the Sloviansk direction, with five more engagements ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, three combat engagements were recorded, while in the Kostiantynivka direction, 31 attacks occurred, with one engagement still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 65 attacks. Ukrainian defenders destroyed 86 occupiers, seven drones, and several pieces of equipment.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, 42 attacks were repelled, with five engagements still ongoing, and an airstrike was recorded on the settlement of Oleksandrivka.
In the Huliaipole direction, 12 enemy attacks were repelled, with five combat engagements ongoing. Enemy aviation struck Huliaipole.
In the Orikhiv direction, eight enemy advance attempts were stopped, while in the Prydniprovskyi direction, two attacks were recorded toward the Antonivskyi Bridge.
On the night of November 29, two drones crossed the Ukrainian border and entered Moldovan airspace, prompting a temporary closure of air traffic and heightened security measures in the region.
Additionally, a large fire broke out in Tatarstan at the Alabuga Special Economic Zone in a battery warehouse, which houses production facilities, including those for strike drones.
