Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of November 25

On Tuesday, 25 November, there were 150 combat engagements along the front line. Almost one-third of them took place in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Enemy strikes
Throughout the day, Russian forces carried out 29 airstrikes and dropped 62 guided bombs. In addition, Russian troops used 2,683 attack drones and launched 3,150 strikes on populated areas and positions of Ukrainian defenders.
Situation on the frontlines
In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Russia conducted three attacks on Ukrainian positions and 155 strikes.
In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, Russian soldiers assaulted Ukrainian positions near Vovchansk, Synelnykove, and toward Kolodiazne. Ukrainian forces repelled five attacks.
In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled three assaults near Pishchane and Petropavlivka.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian units stopped ten attacks near Shandryholove, Novoselivka, Hrekivka, Nadiia, Zarichne, and toward Stavky. Three more engagements are ongoing.
In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled eleven attempts by Russian troops to advance near Dronivka, Vyimka, Serebrianka, Siversk, and toward Zvanivka, Yampil, and Zakitne. One more battle is still underway.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions today.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, Russian soldiers attacked Ukrainian positions 19 times during the day near Oleksandro-Shultyne, Ivanopillia, Kleban-Byk, Yablunivka, Pleshchiivka, Poltavka, and toward Kostiantynivka, Stepanivka, and Sofiivka. Defense forces have already repelled 15 attacks, and fighting continues.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Russia launched 47 attacks. Russian forces attempted to advance near Shakhove, Nove Shakhove, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Novoserhiivka, Novoekonomichne, Molodetske, Filiia, and Dachne. Three engagements are still ongoing.
According to preliminary estimates, 50 Russian soldiers were eliminated in this direction, and 30 were wounded; 21 drones and two personnel shelters were destroyed; a vehicle, an artillery system, and 11 additional Russian troop shelters were hit.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, Ukrainian units repelled 13 attacks near Stepove, Krasnohirske, Pryvilne, Pavlivka, Yehorivka, Zelenyi Hai, Vorone, Sosnivka, and toward Orestopil. Russia also carried out an airstrike on Velykomykhailivka.
In the Huliaipole direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 15 attacks by Russian troops near Zelenyi Hai, Zatyshshia, Solodke, and toward Varvarivka and Dobropillia. Another engagement is ongoing. Russian aviation struck Huliaipole and Zaliznychne.
In the Orikhiv direction, defense forces repelled one enemy assault near Prymorske.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Russian soldiers twice attempted unsuccessfully to attack toward the Antonivskyi bridge.
According to operational data, total Russian losses amount to approximately 116,570 personnel, an increase of 1,120 compared to the previous report for 24 November.
