Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of November 15

As of 10:00 PM Kyiv time on November 15, 164 combat engagements occurred on the front since the start of the day. The highest number of clashes was recorded in the Pokrovsk direction, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian shelling
Today, Russian forces carried out 39 airstrikes and dropped 89 guided bombs. In addition, they deployed 2,659 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,355 attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas.
Frontline situation
In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, one combat engagement with Russian forces occurred. The enemy carried out 150 attacks, including 10 with multiple-launch rocket systems.
In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, Russian forces struck six times near Vovchansk and toward Dvorichanske. One battle remains ongoing.
In the Kupiansk direction, the Russian army attempted to advance five times on our positions near Bohuslavka, Kupiansk, and toward Pishchane and Novoplatonivka. One attack is still in progress.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven Russian attacks. The enemy advanced in Yampolivka, Derylove, Kolodiazi, and toward Druzhliubivka, Drobysheve, and Borova. One combat engagement continues.
In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 11 enemy attacks. Russians attempted to advance in Serebrianka, Verkhniokamianske, Pereizne, and toward Zvanivka. One battle remains ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, three combat engagements occurred near Minkivka and Predtechyne.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 17 Russian attacks near Pleshchiivka, Kostiantynivka, Rusyn Yar, and toward Sofiivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the Russian army attacked Ukrainian positions 52 times today near Chervonyi Lyman, Dorozhne, Rodynske, Novoekonomichne, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Rivne, Novopavlivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Filiia, and Dachne. Four combat engagements are currently ongoing.
"Preliminary estimates indicate that the enemy lost 94 personnel killed or wounded today in the Pokrovsk direction. Our forces destroyed 19 drones, one motorcycle, two UAV command posts, two vehicles, two pieces of specialized equipment, six unmanned aerial vehicles, and one enemy personnel shelter. They also hit one artillery gun, one vehicle, and 21 enemy personnel shelters," the General Staff reported.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 16 enemy attacks near Yalta, Sosnivka, Pryvilne, Vorone, Verbove, Vyshneve, and Zelenyi Hai. Two combat engagements are still ongoing. Pokrovske came under an airstrike.
In the Huliaipole direction, Russian forces carried out 10 assaults. Ukrainian defenders repelled attacks near Varvarivka and Zatyshshia. Two combat engagements continue. Enemy airstrikes hit Zaliznychne.
In the Orikhiv direction, Russians launched four attacks near Stepnohirsk, Plavni, and Stepove. One battle remains ongoing. Airstrikes targeted Prymorske and Malokaterynivka.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions three times near the Antonivskyi Bridge and struck Odradokamianka with unguided missiles.
Earlier today, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with key leaders across Ukraine's defense and security sectors.
The president reported that he received briefings on Russia's capacity to continue the war and its plans for the coming months. He also noted that Russia failed to meet the latest Kremlin-set deadlines for capturing Pokrovsk and Kupiansk.
