In total, 124 combat clashes were recorded along the entire front line over the past day, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Yesterday, Russia launched one missile and 83 air strikes, and dropped 202 guided aerial bombs on Ukraine. In addition, it carried out 4,039 shellings, including 74 from multiple launch rocket systems, and launched 6,190 kamikaze drones.
Russian air strikes were carried out on the following populated areas:
- Solodke, Rivnopillia, Zaliznychne, Nechaivka, Ternuvate, Stepnohirsk, Veselianka, Novoyakovlivka in the Zaporizhzhia region;
- Olhivka in the Kherson region.
Situation on the front lines
One combat engagement took place in the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions over the past day. Russia carried out 2 air strikes, dropping 7 guided aerial bombs, and carried out 154 shellings, including 3 from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, Russia attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders 18 times near Vovchansk, Kamianka, Stroivka, and in the direction of Bolohivka and Dvorichanske.
9 combat clashes took place yesterday in the Kupiansk direction. Ukrainian defenders stopped Russia's assault in the direction of the settlements of Pishchane and Petropavlivka.
In the Lyman direction, Russia attacked 8 times, trying to break through Ukrainian defenses near the settlements of Karpivka, Serednie, Derylove, and Torske.
In the Sloviansk direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces stopped 9 Russian offensive actions in the areas of Vyimka, Serebrianka, Siversk, Pereizne, and Fedorivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Russia did not conduct any offensive actions over the past day.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, Russia carried out 14 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Shcherbinivka, Kleban-Byk, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka, Pleshchiivka, and in the direction of Kostyantynivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 34 Russian assaults in the areas of the settlements of Ivanivka, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Chervonyi Lyman, Pankivka, Lysivka, Udachne, Novoekonomichne, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Molodetsk, and in the direction of the settlements of Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, Russia carried out 14 attacks yesterday near the settlements of Sosnivka, Stepove, Piddubne, Oleksandrograd, Pavlivka, Novohryhorivka, and in the direction of the settlement of Rybne.
In the Huliaipole direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 2 Russian attempts to advance near the settlements of Malynivka and Zelenyi Hai.
In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian units stopped 5 Russian attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops near the settlements of Kamianske, Novoandriivka, Stepove, and Stepnohirsk.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Russia twice attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the direction of the Antonivskyi Bridge but was unsuccessful.
In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of the formation of Russian offensive groups were detected.
Russia's losses
Ukrainian soldiers are inflicting significant losses on the Russian forces in terms of manpower and equipment and are actively undermining Russia's offensive potential in the rear.
Over the past day, the Ukrainian Air Force, missile forces, and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck 8 areas where personnel, weapons, and military equipment were concentrated, as well as 2 Russian artillery systems.
The Russian losses over the past day amounted to 800 troops. Ukrainian soldiers also destroyed 2 tanks, 3 armored combat vehicles, 34 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, 547 unmanned aerial vehicles, and 138 units of Russian automotive equipment.
