Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of Оctober 19

In total, 223 combat engagements were recorded along the entire front line in the past 24 hours, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff, yesterday the invaders carried out one missile strike and 84 airstrikes across Ukraine, launched three additional missiles, and dropped 193 guided aerial bombs.
Additionally, they deployed 6,343 kamikaze drones and conducted 5,114 attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including 117 strikes from multiple rocket launch systems.
The aggressor carried out airstrikes targeting, among other areas, the following settlements:
- Spodibivka and Lozova in Kharkiv region
- Dolynka and Stepnohirsk in Zaporizhzhia region
- Odradokamianka in Kherson region
Situation on the fronts
In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, three combat engagements took place in the past 24 hours. In addition, the enemy carried out 13 airstrikes, dropping 29 guided bombs, and conducted 162 attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including eight from multiple rocket launch systems.
In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy launched eight assaults on our units near the settlements of Odradne, Kamianka, and Bolohivka.
In the Kupiansk direction, the occupiers conducted 11 attacks. Ukrainian forces repelled enemy assaults near Stepova Novoselivka, Kupiansk, Petropavlivka, and toward Mala Shapkivka and Pishchane.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked four times, attempting to advance near the settlements of Novyi Myr, Serednie, and Zarichne.
In the Sloviansk direction, near the settlements of Yampil, Dronivka, and Vyimka, the enemy launched eight attacks on our positions.
In the Kramatorsk direction, two combat engagements were recorded, with the occupiers attacking near Orikhovo-Vasylivka.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 13 attacks in the areas of Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, and Rusyn Yar.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders repelled 47 assault and offensive actions by the aggressor near Volodymyrivka, Rodynske, Myroliubivka, Novoekonomichne, Chervonyi Lyman, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, and Kotliarivka.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked our positions 16 times near Sosnivka, Vorone, Novomykolaivka, Novohryhorivka, and Malynivka.
In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions.
In the Orikhiv direction, the occupiers attacked twice near Stepove.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy made three unsuccessful attempts to approach Ukrainian defensive positions near the Antonivskyi Bridge.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of enemy offensive groupings were detected.
Enemy losses
Our forces continue to inflict significant losses on the occupiers in both personnel and equipment, actively reducing the enemy’s offensive potential in the rear.
In the past 24 hours, the Air Force, missile troops, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck eight areas of enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment concentration.
Overall, enemy losses over the past day amounted to 1,000 personnel. Ukrainian forces also destroyed one tank, three armored fighting vehicles, 45 artillery systems, two multiple rocket launch systems, 444 operational-tactical drones, and 126 enemy vehicles.
