Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of September 27

Over the past 24 hours, there were 186 combat clashes on the front. The largest number of battles took place in the Lyman, Toretsk, Pokrovsk, and Novopavlivka directions, according to the update of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out one missile strike and 67 airstrikes, launched one missile, and dropped 142 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it conducted 4,953 shelling attacks, including 135 with multiple launch rocket systems, and used 5,924 kamikaze drones.
Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck six areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment, as well as one artillery system and one command post.
In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, there were 10 combat clashes over the past 24 hours. The enemy carried out 10 airstrikes, dropping 24 guided aerial bombs, and conducted 208 shelling attacks, including 12 with multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions four times near Vovchansk, Kamianka, and in the direction of Doroshivka.
In the Kupiansk direction, four combat clashes occurred yesterday. Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy assault actions near Stepova Novoselivka and in the direction of Bohuslavka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy launched 20 attacks, attempting to break through defenses near Hrekivka, Novyi Myr, Karpivka, Kolodiazi, Shandryholove, Zarichne, Torske, and toward Stavy.
In the Siversk direction, Defense Forces stopped nine enemy advances in the areas of Hryhorivka, Vyimka, Pereizne, and in the direction of Yampil and Dronivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, six combat clashes were recorded yesterday, as the occupiers attempted to advance toward Stupochky.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 21 attacks in the areas of Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Kleban-Byk, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka, and Poltavka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 62 enemy assaults near Novoekonomichne, Nikanorivka, Volodymyrivka, Chervonyi Lyman, Rodynske, Lysivka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Horiakhove, Dachne, and in the direction of Pokrovsk, Balahan, and Filiia.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy carried out 27 attacks near Piddubne, Novoselivka, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Sichneve, Sosnivka, Komyshuvakha, Kalynivske, and in the direction of Novohryhorivka and Novovasylivske.
In the Huliaipole direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped five enemy attempts to advance near Poltavka.
In the Orikhiv direction, Defense Forces successfully repelled two attacks toward Stepnohirsk.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions four times in the direction of the Antonivskyi Bridge but achieved no success.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of enemy offensive groupings were observed.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia has lost 1,107,400 soldiers since the beginning of the full-scale war. Ukrainian forces eliminated 970 Russians in the past 24 hours.
